Iron Man 3

just watched Iron Man 3 last night.

IMO: IM1 > IM3 > IM2

if you don't want to be disappointed, go into the movie expecting no "Mandarin" (at least in the 10 magical/alien rings concept)

a majority over here seem to think that 3 was a horrible movie.
i recommend that you manage your expectations.

I went in without having read anything and was distinctly underwhelmed. It was entertaining, had lots of snarky Downeyesque wise cracks, but the plot was really hazy. They PC'd up Mandarin, resulting in a completely muddled villain that had no real motivation and had one of the more transparent Deus Ex Machina climatic rescues I have seen in a while (I won't spoil completely) in a movie. The 3D was completely irrelevant and really added nothing. That said, I did enjoy it but most of my enjoyment was really about all the great digital FX....plot, characters, dialog...not so good.

I watched it last night at the cinema. I concur with the pecking order of the the 3 films 1 >3>>>2 with 1 and 3 being close. I hate how the movie ended with Iron Man calling it quits. Iron Man doesn't quit. IHO, if they are to make another Iron Man, I think the "Pots" character won't be there or will be killed off early. The guy who played "The Mandaren" figure head was hilarious. He cracked me up.

I didn't like the story line at all... I liked 2 better with 1 obviously the best.

This movie was quite bad.. Emotionally sad and depressed iron man?.. Just put iron man in a suit kicking bad guy *** without kids to help and also without a whole bunch of other iron man suits being controlled by remote or whatever.. Just got goofy to me..
