I created my own IR receiver by buying an IR sensor from Radio Shack and wiring it up to a 3.5mm plug (I hooked up the ground, signal, and power correctly). It does not work when plugged into the "Zone 2 In" on the amp and i beleive it is because the sensor is a low voltage (<5.5v) sensor. Do I need a 12v sensor, or would i be better off just purchasing a sensor online for the $50 they seem to be selling for? Thanks again for the help.
