Hi all,

What's a good, relatively inexpensive set to replace the one that comes with the iPod? I need something similar that has the microphone built-in also.

Hi all,

I own Etymotic Research HF2 Headset and they ROCK !!!
Since intro price dropped from $180 to under $130 and they worth every penny.
They got the most studio reference sound as it gets in iphone/ipod headsets ever......

you can get em here:
http://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Research-Earphones-Headset-Compatible/dp/B0012OP7HE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1260474528&sr=8-1

P.S: For all complainers about lack of bass - Just learn to get a proper seal and you'll be amazed by sound quality !

I would suggest the Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10vi phones...here's the description.

From what I've read they should outdo the HF2 earbuds handily.

And...conveniently enough...I have a pair for sale! :)

Only $150 shipped for you, brand new...

Sennheiser headphones

Personally, I don't think you'll go wrong if you pay a bit more and go for sennheiser headphones - the quality is superb in all regards.
