I understand this is a fan made render and is pretty cool in concept. Like the person who made that render, I used to be in the "no bezel is good bezel" camp.
After using the Nexus 5 for a few weeks, have come to realize that a small amount of bezel (along screen's long edges) is desired to prevent inadvertent touching of screen (by the palm) when reaching across the diagonal with the thumb.
The first few days were very frustrating, but, I'm slowly getting used to changing my grip before reaching for upper half of the phone and the number of accidental touches has considerably reduced. Better software to detect accidental edge touches should also improve the situation.
