My wife and I will be breaking ground on our new home in the somewhat near future and I have an opportunity to spec out a 5.1 inwall system. For the speakers, I think I'm pretty set on the Axiom M22 inwalls. I would like to have dual inwall subwoofers upfront, but I haven't heard or come across a whole lot of inwall subwoofers. I know NHT offers one and Velodyne. Who else offers a good inwall subwoofer that would be in the same budget arena as a 5.0 set of Axiom M22 inwalls?

EDIT: Just realized I posted this in the loudspeaker section by accident. Would a mod kindly move. Thanks!

Totem just released they Dual 8" in-wall sub with an external 500w BASH amp and a dual 12" in-wall sub with the same amp. The 12" is a single driver and a passive radiator.

Are you sure you want to go with in-walls? Placement is so critical to really good sound that I think you might regret going that route.

Just my 2 cents...

True but In-walls have a much higher WAF (wife acceptance factor)

Please keep in mind, no matter what brand/model in-wall sub you choose, you need to physically de-couple the device from the wall board and studs, otherwise substantial coloration will occur. A few small stiff rubber washers or short hang brace will not be sufficient(unless it is a very specialized hanging brace; I would need to see photos of the kit to let you know if it will be effective). It is possible to retro-fit such a mounting system into any application with a little know-how. I can make recommendations if needed.
