and then converts to analog, and uses analog eq instead of digital, as the end result sounds better than if he uses a digital eq
So what's the reason for 192/24
Brickwall filters are too nasty, so with higher sample rates the filters are not really a problem as they are much more shallow and even at 15Khz he suggests audible difference between 44.1/24 and 192/24
Problem with DSD is that something disappears in the process between recording and mastering... and it doesn sound as right as it should....
JVC found out that CD's coming from different pressing machines all sounded different, based on which pressing machine was utilized
Even with all the best technology available at the studio, Allen claims he never been able to make a copy of a CD that sounds as good as the original
Looking at some of the artists thet's been through his studio and the albums they made, it sure gives some credibility
