Interesting Question? as a Toshiba HD-A2 owner

I have Projector which is 720p, so i bought Toshiba A-2. Now I am planning to upgrade my Projector to Mitsubishi 6000 which has build in Reon HQV processor.
My DVd player can only output 1080i, My question is, will this projector can convert this signal to 1080p.

Or I have to buy 1080p DVd palyer whrn prices are dirt cheap.

No... a fixed pixel 1080p display will de-interlace (not upconvert) pretty much any proper 1080i signal to 1080p.

1080i=1080p on any decent 1080p display. As this is not the sales floor at Best Buy, I'm surprised this silliness of 1080i being so inferior to 1080p dares to rear its head on an enthusiasts' forum.
