Hello, I was wondering if there would be any gain in audio quality by switching cables. Currently I have Acoustic Research Performance Series for the subwoofer

I was wondering if switching to monster cable optical http://www.monstercable.com/THX1/productPage.asp?pin=1714

and this sub cable

would make a difference in quality. I am looking for the best quality sound. Just curious if the price is worth it for the stuff I listed.
