Btw: It'll be great addition for any PC to store files like swap or large Outlook offline files - OSTs, search indexes or movie/music collection database etc....
also this will great replacement for laptop main harddrive - sacrifice space for longer on battery live time, less heat and noise and drop prof - well your screen/plastic body still fragile so don't try this at home

Seriously, why do I come to this site... you guys make me spend money.

Since I have no SATA ports left, and I'd be replacing my single 150 Raptor with 2 of these in RAID0, I need to buy a new motherboard... oh well.

And before SOMEONE WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS suggests it, NO I'm not buying a RAID controller and NO the RAID functionality in the ICH10R isn't slower than running them non-RAID.

but seriosly thou - why not SATA port multiplier - they are pretty cheap (if your mobo chipset supports them)

I don't think it does... I'm gonna stop myself from buying these, which will in turn make me buy another motherboard which will make me buy another CPU which will make me buy new memory which will make me buy a new video card...

I'm just impulsive like that. I would decide to upgrade everything for no reason, since all I want to do with my computer is play Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 when they release.
