I have an (Onkyo) Integra Net Audio Client 2.3 (NAC 2.3) connected to an Integra 2-channel amp (ADM 2.1). The amp has audio input volume control. When the audio input is turned to max. (as recommended in owner's manual), there is a noticeable hissing noise through the speakers. Turning down the audio input volume reduces, but does not eliminate.
The dealer insists that the equipment should not be doing this. Integra suggested the hissing is interference relating to the fact that both the amp and NAC have volume controls.
Anyone know how can I eliminate the hissing?
(I have verified that neither the speakers nor speaker cable are causing/contributing to the problem.)
