Integra DPC 8.5

Hi All,

I have the Integra DPC 8.5. I really like it and the DVDA and SACD playback is great! However, I don't have much to compare it with other then the previous JVC I had that only played DVDA.

My question is more on what others think who either own it or have heard/listened to the unit. I don't have an HDTV yet so my experience on the video end can't compare to someone who has used it or seen it on an HDTV set.

Secrets gave it a very, very bad review in the video arena. Anyone else have an opinion?

I have the sister Onkyo 802 player which technically should not be as good as the Integra player. I'm extremely happy with the sound and video. Now I'm much more critical about SQ then I am VQ but I do have a well calibrated CRT and I have no complaints about the video quality. So it might not be perfect in the eyes of a reviewer who is looking for faults and watching scenes that are known to be difficult to reproduce but in normal everyday use I haven't really noticed any PQ differences between this player and either the Sony or Panasonic that I had before this one.
