Ihave a Xbox One connected to aRx-A740 Yamaha Receiver witch is plugged into my Toshiba 50L7363.
After some search in the nett i found out my tv has about 33ms inputlag. But I have to set my receiver to 90ms audio delay when i use gaming mode on my Xbox to make the audio sync. Does this mean that my receiver introduces some ekstra inputlag to my games? HDMI is set to passtrough.

You may have to check the display for lipsynch adjustments as it is likely the differential occurs between the receiver and the display. It happens to me too, but not on all movies.

I know this. Switch back to auto lipsync on receiver and movie mode when watching movies, then lipsync is perfect. What i want to know is if my receiver, or all receivers, are causing input lag. Extra respond time from controller to tv via console. If the console is routed via the receiver

Yes, it is the receiver's processing that causes this. If I switch to analog audio from my Oppo, I no longer have lipsynch issues.

For gaming, you really want to set any components (TV, XBOX, AVR, etc) to a "game mode" and/or completely defeat any video processing!

If you are playing online games, lag in the 100ms range is going to painful, especially for FPS games.
