Infinity TSS-750 Vs. Athena Micra 6 Feedback Please

I am looking for a good set of speakers for my living room. The room is approximately 19'x19' with the back of the room partly open to other rooms and has a 9' ceiling. Because of the openings I need small rear surround speakers that can hang from the ceiling. I am looking at the Infinity TSS-750 and the Athena Micra 6 sets. I know those maybe a little small for my room but I could add larger front and center speakers and maybe a bigger sub later on, and use the small satelite speakers in these sets for my rear surrounds, giving me a 7.1 system. Do you guys think I am on the right track or just throwing money away. Please give me some feedback and any suggestions. My budget right now is $400.00. By the way I have a Onkyo TXSR602 reciever they will be hooked to.

Thank You in advance!

I was just trying to get some more responses. I had only had 3 responses on the other thread and thought it might help if I listed the speakers in the title, thats all. I really appriciate your input and that of others and hope I get many more opinions or recommendations.

Thank You!

Infinity SAT-1100

Ive got 7 of the infinity sat-1100 which are another 50 bucks a piece filling a 24' x 17' living room that im very pleased with. Of course i dont even know of half the other brands that are talked about on these forums or how crappy mine might sound in comparison but for the $ range, im eye to eye with yah.

There not as small as you might like and the provided bracket isnt going to help you hang from the ceiling but you could get three of them for 450 with another 10% off getting you down to the $400 neighborhood on crutchfield. Youd have your fronts taken care of or grab two for the rears.

Out of the speaker series i also bought the 12" 250 watt sub.

Infinity vs. Athena

The Infinitys have a very credible sound and I happen to know they are somewhat more accurate than the Athena speakers. The Infinitys also have better construction and are very robust physically and electrically. The sub that is designed to work with the Infinity 750's also mates very well with the Infity 750 sats. The Athenas are very bright and and thin in the mids, wheras the Infinitys have a more nuetral sound.
