Infinity In Walls

I'm currnetly in the market for some in ceiling speakers and came across the Infinity line(ERS 310), mainly because I have a accomodation discount. Does anyone have experience with these? And their subs also, the sw12 & the TSS-SUB4000?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Oh, and these speakers are not for me, they are for my parents so top of the line sound isn't that important, I'm just trying to get them something pretty decent. For those who are wondering, I'd be getting the ers310's for under 80 bucks ea.

You can't beat $80 bucks each.

But if you want a lot better speaker for a little more, look at Speakercraft in-ceiling Aim speakers.

Thank you for the reply. As I mentioned in my first post, these are going in my parents new house and I'm just trying to get them something relatively good. How much are the Aim speakers? The site didn't have any prices.

As far as the piviting feature, infinity does have a speaker in which the tweeter is aimable, I think it's the CS80R, would that provide better sound?

One last question, is there anyplace where I can go listen to these Speakercraft speakers? This is the first time I've heard of them.

Thanks for the advice, but the speakercrafts are too rich for me, $1250 a pair! Looks like I'm going to go with the CS80R's because of the aimable tweeter & the price!

$1250 a pair? For the Speakercraft Aim8 Fours. You don't need the Aim8 Fours. Look at the Aim8 One's. There are 5 different Aim8 speakers. Sorry if i wasn't clear enough for you. What's your zip code I will find a store for you to demo them.

I checked for you today on the speakers. They are $450 bucks for a pair. I checked e-bay and there is a pair for $288. That's the way I'd go.
