In-Walls With Axioms M60ti's

I'm working on a new home theater. Considering the Axiom M60ti's based mostly on what I've read here and other places.

I will use one of teh Axiom centers as well.

However, I want to use true flush mount in-wall speakers for the rear and sides. Axiom's appear to be only partially recessed. What in-walls would be a good match for the M60ti's?

As for a sub, would you recommend Axiom's over an HSU or SVS?

Thanks for your help. Greg

Have you considered the Monitor Audio RS

You can get the Silver RS6 for under a grand, and they make an in-wall speaker in the silver line that matches the sound. The sound of the Silver RS is very good, they have wood veneer, so the look is outstanding. I highly recommend you check this system out. If you have any questions, or want more info, send me a private message, and be sure to visit the web-site.

Enjoy,

Axiom surrounds

For surround channels, your best bet is a bipole type speaker like the Axiom QS8s. These will mount on the wall and are not recessed or flush with the wall or ceiling. Like you suggested, the new Axiom on-wall speakers (W2's or W3's) are partially recessed into the wall. These would work pretty well, but would not disperse sound like the QS8s. In my experience, you will have to spend multiples more money to get an inwall speaker that has the performance level of the QS8s. Also, the best performance will be achieved when the surround channels match the front and center channels.

Consider emailing axiom for their advice.
