In-wall Speaker Matching

I have been looking around hard for a set of in-wall speakers for an HT system that is available as a set and have been having little luck. Even finding front and back and center speakers that are in-wall from the same manufacturer seem to be hard to find. Has anyone found an inwall set that is in the $300-500 range? I am setting up a 5.1 system and have found some decent sounding subwoofers but its the center speaker that seems to be the problem to match with the 4 side speakers....any help appreciated

Hi
There are several manufactures that have complete in wall systems.
About 70% of the systems I install are in walls.
It is very important when choosing an in wall system that you take
room dimensions, room acoustical properties, and listening habits, example
(50% movies 50% HT or ?) into consideration. If your room is large and you
are building a system geared toward Home Theater and you want allot of impact and dynamic capability then this is what you need to look at

If you are building a system for a mix of HT and Music then this is what you should be looking at Please note the in wall center

I often use a conventional center speaker with an in wall system
the center is installed above, below or in an entertainment center
Hope this helps

JBL Inwall

I am considering the JBL SP5 2-Way 5-1/4" 60 Watts, In-Wall Speakers and JBL HT155 for center speaker in a 5.1 and possibly 7.1 HT arrangement. Has anyone used this or similar JBL combination? I have generally liked JBL speakers in the past for purely music applications but am not sure how I will like them for an HT....

Klipsch

KLA,

Thanx for the information. The Klipsch look great though I havent been able to find a dealer on-line that sells all the pieces. It looks like Klipsch may be a little outside my budget, hence the interest in JBL. I will be using this primarily for watching movies and sporting events and the room is the basement, with a fairly low ceiling though spacious...
