In wall/On wall speaker help

I am in the process of building a new home and need advice on speaker types and brands. I be wiring some rooms for sound but am mainly wondering about the media room.

I am looking for a clean looking room so want either wall mounted speakers or in wall speakers. What are the advanteges/disadvantages of these types of speakers? What brand would be best pared with a Denon reciever?

My price range is around $300-400 per speaker.

Generally speaking in the price range you have stated on wall speakers will perform better than in wall speakers both in dispersion characteristics and lower frequency response
The new Pinnacle Quantumplasma 3 are very high bang for the buck on walls about $300 each
as are the Dahlquist QX80-OW about $350 each

I purchased some Speakercraft MT-8's on ebay for $800 bucks. I've got a Yami Z9 throwing out sound to em and they rock! I also have AIM-5 ceiling speakers. I Must say, I was blown away by the sound.
