in the spirit of amateur radio

First of all I would like to say sorry for my previous post in the DIY. I am new to this forum. But, I am rather irritated by the fact that there are so few people left that will pick up from the spirit of amateur radio and try to improve on what is already there. I've spent the last 18 years developing new technology that has lead to spread spectrum and cellular techonologies. I've built my own homebrew amplifiers using what I've learned from linear amplifier concepts and reverse engineering of existing amplifiers, and have by now means broken any new ground, but it is the satisfaction of producing an equal grounds amp to that of the comercial systems that I find very exuberating. Does anybody share the same passion for doing things on their own anymore or am I in the wrong forum, all the rest I've come across are old guys that have nothing but passion for the old tube rigs that make their old vinyls sound good. I've read all kinds of articles and posts on whether vinyl sounds better than digital, and I still can't really argue either side, they both sound good considering the appropriate equipment. So, if at the least, I hope I can start a good arguement here without name calling and argumentative statement of facts. Just please, keep the thread to prospering the advent of adventure in sonic excellence by new means.......:)
