in the market for a 42-46"er

well its time for a new tv... i think i am going to be shopping in the 42-46" range.. i am anti sony... so i am looking at pani, samy, and mitsu... and either lcd, plasma, or dlp.. if i do dlp ill probably go 50" og bigger definatly under 60" though

anyone have any recomendations...

i am looking to spend under 2400....

Here's my 2 cents: I love the panasonic 42" plasma (ED), I've had mine for 2 years and it's been solid as a rock, I saw it advertised here in Miami last week for 1288.00 I recommend it for 2 reasons 1. performance for the money. 2.quality.

What I did recently in the same situation as you was looked around online; Best Buy, Circuit City, and found about 8 or 9 in my price range with the features and inputs I was looking for. Then I went and actually looked at the TVs in person with a DVD I was familiar with and factored everything in, then made the decision. Anyone who claims to know about home audio/video will probably tell you the same. Good luck on your choice and make sure to post pictures and let us know what you picked out. For your budget, there's a LOT of choices. Shop wisely.
