In Ceiling Speakers

I'm looking for some in-ceiling speakers for my kitchen and dining room. These will be used for strictly low to mid volume listening. Due to discounts available to me, I need to pick a speaker from either Infinity, JBL, or Part$Express.

Any and all opinions appreciated.

Products with 6.5" drivers in the $200/pr. range should work fine. MTX at part$express.

Im picking up some JBL SCS6C speakers next week for my dad's pipe-in music myself. these are the soundpoint series from JBL sporting 6.5" drivers (the unit itself is circular - hence the letter C in the model number)

I will listen to them after I buy them next week ... will be back to this thread after april 9

MTX? Really? I saw them on PE but I was a bit leary...I've never been to impressed with their car audio offerings? Am I missing something?

I finally got my speakers, instead of picking them up myself ... I had enough good credit to pay in check COD. given I bought my speaker setup from them :)

anyway, the JBL SP6C ... at first I thought these could not be loud enough for big rooms, but after I hooked them up, they're way way more than enough in my 2600+ cu. ft. room.

I am also using an HK3480 to power them (I plan to connect two or three pairs to this stereo receiver) and then add a behringer a500 or two to power the rest.

NICE! I'm thinking of running whatever I get with Harmon's available A-bus1 wall unit. http://harmankardon.com/product_detail.aspx?Region=USA&Country=US&Language=ENG&cat=MRP&prod=AB 1&sType=C

A-bus speakers

Keep in mind that A-bus maxes out around 15 Watts so efficiency is import and power handeling is not.
