In-Ceiling Speaker Installation Help

Hi all,
I just bought two RSL C34E speakers that I am going to install. I've heard in this forum it is best to insulate above the speaker as to improve the sound and to prevent loss and that Ultratouch Denim insulation is best to use. The problem is that it out of stock everywhere. I was wondering if I use an insulating foam board instead that can be folded to get into the opening of the ceiling cutout where the speaker is going would be as effective as the insulation or should I make a cardboard box to go above the speaker and then put regular insulation above the box. What is recommended as the best way to do this?
