In-ceiling recommendations? 10" between studs.

I need some in-ceiling surround speakers that will fit between my joists. I have 10 inches between the studs and 9 inches of depth. And I'd like to keep the cost at $1500 or less for the pair. And I'd prefer them to be the sealed box type. Anything come to mind that will fit this space and still perform well?

EDIT: I didn't read your size requirements close enough. I'd go down to the SA-10R. The others require a circular cutout with a diameter of 10 & 5/8 inches. Again though - I haven't heard these in person.

Paradigm SA-15R-30. Retails at 600 each but I'll bet you can get the pair for 950 - 1000. Even if you go with something else you should check out the spec sheet. They are very interesting speakers. You can buy them individually if you want to for any particular purpose.

You can get the non-angled version (SA-15R) for 700 or less (retail 850) for the pair.

Disclosure: I have NOT heard these speakers in person. I am basing this solely on my personal experience with my Paradigm Studio speakers. The A/V guy I trust puts the 15r-30 on par with those and I plan to use them to bump my 5.1 to a 7.1 at some point.
