Sorry for asking again since I have asked this question in the past, but I am still a bit confused on this setting. My speakers have the following impedance:
Mains: 6 omh
center: 6 omh
rears: 8 omh

How should set my receiver?

6 or 8? Could you also explain?

Don't get hung up on what a manufacturer says an impedance is. That is a meaningless number. Look at the speaker configuration. If there is more than one woofer, then you can pretty much take it to the bank the the speaker is four ohms or less. So you front three are four ohm speakers.

leave your receiver set to 8 ohms, that will allow it to deliver the most current to the speakers, and not limit the current drive. Generally most receivers deliver at most half their rated power when driving towers like those. The good news is that it is only a 3 db reduction in spl.
