impedance

Hi, everybody!
I am in a process of assembling a new home theater system, and I need your help. I’m planning to buy Yamaha Z9 and Axiom 80 speakers. I know that Axiom has impedance of 4 Ohms. Does Yamaha Z9 support this impedance?
I will appreciate all your input

the power is rated dynamic to 2 ohms (wow!). Should be no problem.

RXZ9 Impedance

I too am looking into purchasing a speaker with a 4 ohm load. If I am not mistaking, the RXZ9 should run at 80% efficiency under 4 ohm load. So the actual wattage per channel would be 136 watts per channel. This is pure clean dynamic power. Try taking a look at the magnepan speaker company. They are a planar ribbon speaker. The mg12 is very nice looking, but I have yet to audition them. For 550.00 a pair with an easy return, can't go wrong I guess. www.MAGNEPAN.COM.
