Heck it’s even tough for professional installers to get it right; and many times they don’t. Impact Acoustics recently introduced an ingenious system that solves many of the problems associated with pre-wire. They take most of the guesswork out of the process and create a near foolproof way to pre-wire your home for multi-media called RapidRun. It was great seeing a review on these Rapid Run cables. I've just completed wiring a 7,000 square foot house with about 800-1,000 feet of Rapid Run and I'm happy to learn they received positive praises.

Using Rapid Run cables made my job a whole lot easier and I'm very comfortable with the quality of them.

I highly recommend using them and their customer service is commendable.

Rapidrun now has hdmi - i.e. rapidrun digital

Just a quick note to let you know:

up to 65 feet internally with an active plate on the source end and flying lead or passive plate on the display end OR

up to 25 feet with passive plate or flying lead on either end

Hope that helps.
