Imaging question for 7.1 bipolar speakers

I am getting a Fluance HVB setup, this question is mainly about imaging and not which speakers to get.

I am stuck on the Fluance. But for some specifics as stated I will get the HVB 5 speaker setup, but I will go for the upgraded center channel, and will be getting the bipolar speakers (main question for these)

You will see two drawings below, its a converted 30 foot long patio, but a sad 9.5 foot wide. The sub will be in the center of the room under the custom made coffee table. The screen is 120" so it will take up 90% of the wall. (Electric screen, that is bookcases behind the screen with my Terminator, The Crow, Pinhead 18" figures and about 2 dozen 1/18 movie cars) Anyhow, on to the imaging question.

{Question 1} Would I get better imaging with the center channel mounted above the screen on a 90 degree angle pointed down towards center chair, or below screen on a 30 degree angle pointed up?

{Question 2} I will include 2 drawings of the room, One is with the bipolars as side surrounds and the other is with them as rear surrounds. Which would give me better imaging?

Either way, they will have special stands built for them at about a 15 degree angle pointing down, for both sets. But if the regular surrounds are used as the side surrounds then they would be 15 degrees down and about 10 degrees pointed towards the center chair. The center chair is a black Sharper Image Ijoy Turbo 2 massage chair with a cup holder and the added massaging ottoman. The 2 side chairs because of the width of room at 9.5 are 2 exec. black computer chairs. (Obviously I would only want friends to come over for maximum of one movie)

I am very serious about this room, as I have a architect and a engineer coming monday afternoon to start the drawing plans, and all the wiring for speakers and projector. I am assuming a cost of 3-10k for the room.

Below the screen. With such a long room, a 30 degree pitch will result in better sound than aiming it down at 90 degrees. Less degree of error below the screen.

Bipolarars should always go on the side walls. You are going to have issues with imaging in such a narrow room regardless.

Sorry actually it would be more like 60 degrees but I see your point and will go that route.... Thanks..

Anytime. Don't spill the coffee with all that bass right there! BTW, Fluance makes some nice looking stuff at very reasonable prices. Let us know how everything turns out. That will be one kick @$$ home theater. I like the idea of an electric screen over a bookcase. What a way to maximize space!

OK, Buck..
We can scratch those plans.
We are not going to add to my mothers house here (in Florida), while I wait for other house to be built...(in Georgia)
(So I will not be temporarily living with mom)
The price for that room, I felt would be a wasted 10K.

It looks as though I have a floor plan for the new house. (base price 192K)
Anyhow the new basement from my understanding is something like 22L x 12.5W x 8H (some areas are up to 9') I don't have the basement plans however here are the rest of the house. I will have to fly up there within the next 2 weeks to speak with the builder. Basically the basement has 3 rooms. The main room, a bathroom, and a super large storage closet. (I am assuming the storage closet will be for electronics)

I have spoken with the realtor, and he says the electrician the builder uses does allow for all of what I want to happen. Says he happens to have a HT room as well. So I would have the luxury of adding all my wiring before walls go up. With some areas being up to 9' for the basement - I think I would like to do a dome/cathedral type ceiling. For the projector to shoot down the middle...

Majorloser, has his room set-up the way I vision mine to be set-up like.
(If he would ever post pics here) Yes he is a friend, and I have seen his set-up.

Anyhow here are the other plans until I get the prints for the basement...
The spare room above the garage may end up being a small HT room....

EDIT:: Once I have prints for basement, I may need more ideas at that time...
