Image retention on panny G20

I have some image retention on my Panny plasma g20. I do believe the ps3 caused it . I haven't left it un attended on on pause for very long. I was wondering if any one else has had the same happen? I am hoping it will disappear over time but now that I have seen it,I will never be able to watch it the same again.I ran the scrolling bar and have the pixel orbiter on automatic. Should I change this setting to a timed event of leave it in automatic? The TV had more than enough time on it before it was used for any major gaming. Can't say I am to happy this has happened.

I've had times when I thought I had burn in from using my PC (on a 42" panny plasma), but it turns out it was just short term.
Play TV for a couple of days without the PS3 on it at all.
If it completely goes away, you're good.
If not, there are videos you can play to level things out again.

Check you havent got the contrast at eye burning levels, that causes wear far quicker.

Thank for the replies. I really just noticed it last night after playing MW3.I checked the contrast and turned it down to 66. I just recently put a WD powerline adapter down buy the tv for my Ps3 and apple tv.I wonder if this is just coincidence or of it could be a factor. I wouldn't think it could effect the tv but I never noticed it before I installed the adapter. So I decided to play MW4 for a different screen layout and I definitely could see some retention from that game after only an hour of playing...It was less then the other imprints but still definitely there.(different from the MW3 ones)

Where can I buy a disc at if this doesn't go away?

Thanks again for the replies

You shouldn't need a disc at all, a regular (full screen) HD TV signal should randomize the display enough over time. My son and I do some pretty long gaming sessions (12+ hours in a row) on new releases and TV has always removed the image retention on my Panny. That and keeping the picture levels down definitely helps to reduce the retention.

After looking at the tv and where I had the powerline adapter set, the retention was more prominent where the adapter sat. I really am wondering if this may of had an influence.I never noticed it before I bought it and I have played hours and hours on it. I am sure I would have seen the retention in the screen before this as I watch lots of hockey on that tv and I know I would have picked it out right away as I did last night.I am going to buy some longer cat 5 cables and move it away from the tv and see what happens.
