Ok...here I am. I'm the guy who bought the Yamaha CRR-HD 1300.

Don't laugh. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Is it now worth anything or is it a boat anchor?

It has value if you use it. It does offer analog audio recording capabilities, which could be nice if you are trying to bring a vinyl collection into the digital world. Really, most people use their PC across the board for this type of process these days, and the PC user interface tends to be far superior.

There was a reason for this product (perhaps) when you bought it, but at this point the average inexpensive computer is capable of doing far more.

I wouldn't expect it to have a lot of value, but there is certainly nothing wrong with it or any reason to get a new one.
