Hi. First off i'd like to say that these forums look like they will be very valuable to me and I plan to contribute all that i can. Thanks for the site

Now for my introduction:
Name: Steve Hook

Here is my current system:
Receiver: Denon AVR-985S

I am, and would like to become more of, an audiophile. I love music. I can listen to almost anything but I specifically love Classic Rock from the late 60s through the 70s. My 3 Favorite Bands are The Who, The Beatles, and Probably Led Zeppelin.

Can't wait to post some more relevant to actual audio topics!

Are you sure Sven? Its very addicting, and stupidly expensive (well can be)

Just kidding (on 'are you sure?')
It looks as though you are well on your way. Nice setup for a fellow of your age.
Please make sure you make friends with Cygnus. J/K Cyg:D

Welcome aboard.:)
You've got a good start there with your av system!
Classic rock is good stuff and it does not rhyme with crap like wrap.:D
Well, I'm off now to take a wrap.

If you're a man of the classics, you cannot ignore Steely Dan, The Eagles, and Pink Floyd.

Thanks for all the responses!

Of course I love Pink Floyd! Theyd prolly be next on the list. I like the eagles and have a few of their albums but im more a fan of Joe Walsh's solo career then his eagles work. As for Steely Dan, i could never really get into him. Perhaps ill pick ups some more of his music.

Go Blue? Damn straight!

Steely Dan, FYI, is essentially two people, namely Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Fagen is the vocalist for all but a couple of songs. I can understand though, Steely Dan is definitely an acquired taste.
