Just saw this while browsing other stuff on ikea’s website. They would work well for my room but does anyone think they would work well for first reflection point? Relatively inexpensive at $150 each.

I wouldn't think you'd need anything that tall for the first reflection but would work.

Had cubicle barriers last place I worked, never again! Seem a bit overkill as EverettT mentions.
