This is very good information that clears up so many misconceptions about Room EQ programs. So many people mistakingly assume that room EQ systems like Audyssey make their systems better. I think that Room EQ has caused more damage than it has corrected. It is a feature that is better left off of most AVRs.

I didn't quite get Audyssey is ruining systems from those videos. More of a caution to not expect much if you're not starting out with good speakers to begin with. All the other stuff first before trying to eq your problems.
