When did Letterman become such an old D-Bag?

Palin was in New York speaking at an Autism event, and attended a Yankee game.

During his Tuesday night monologue, Letterman mentioned that last year's GOP vice presidential nominee was in New York, and had attended a Yankees game with her daughter.

"During the seventh inning,'' he said, "her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez." Palin had taken her 14-year-old daughter Willow to the game.

If he ever said that about my daughters, or sister (Regardless of her age) my size -12 would be lost somewhere.

I can't say that I like Palin, but that is a hardcore douche move.

Letterman specified later on that he was referring to the eighteen year old daughter.

If I were in that situation, I would probably be offended. However, I don't think the Palins really have much ground to be angry, considering the fact that their family is already really messed up, and the fourteen year old really isn't going to be exposed to anything she already hasn't been.

I didn't mind McCain. But I hated Palin... it's a shame that the election brought her into the public eye.

It's one thing to crack on Sara Palin since she's a public figure but to use their children as the butt of jokes has always been frowned upon. That's dirty pool.

Hey Rick,

having two daughters I can relate to your anger! He certainly crossed the line with that comment and for that he should apologize! I'm not a big fan of late night shows but FWIW maybe this was directed equally towards A-fraud and not all at the Palin's.

Yeah as far as Im concerned kids are off limits. She is a politician and in the public eye, but her daughter is not. It was a classless move on his part.

Letterman and his writers let their political hatred get the best of them.
