Lots of doubters out there, but I think the Eagles showed today that they're for real. In my opinion, they have one of the very best overall coaching staffs in the NFL.

Tough but doable game next week.

As rabid a Vikes fan as I am, I don't necessarily think beating Minnesota means you're "for real." To be honest, half the teams they played beat em. Moss was hurt & the Vikes are ranked 28th in total defense. Not to take anything away from Philly- they caught all the breaks, everything that could have went their way did, but they just outplayed my boys. The Vikings were just flat all day.

But beating Minnesota doesn't prove much, I'm afraid . Philly is my 2nd favorite NFC team. If Owens is healthy enought to be effective, they'll have a chance, though.

You're right, beating Minnesota wasn't proof of anything. The fact that they came out prepared after their break and the fact that they had an offense without TO will hopefully get rid of some of the doubters, though.

Moss had to be injured considering his performance. He dropped a few that were in his hands. If he spent less time grabbing attention with celebrations and unnecessary comments and more time focusing on the game and working hard, he'd be scary good (and would gain much more respect).

I'll be praying TO is healthy.

Sadly, this is true. However, I think he has grown up a bit and he's not so selfish as to ignore the team. Certainly showy and obnoxious, but still much more of a team player.
