ID on these JBL cubes?

I picked these guys up for $4.50 at a thrift store and I don't know what model they are. The fronts don't seem to come off, willingly any how. No info on the back. I figured they are part of a surround set. Just wondering what the specs might be and if they may be a possible for a 'front high' surround when I get my new receiver. Something to mess with. They are basically a 6 inch cube, give or take. Thanks.

I think they are. They look a lot like ones I had many, many years ago (early 90's perhaps). It was a center + 2 surround set that you added to your stereo speakers when 5ch surround started becoming popular. Think it might have just been a fullrange driver.

they look like the surround speakers from the old TLX line. If you could post picture without front fabric it would be easier to make a positive id
