Here's what I have: yamaha htr5760 (similar to rxv650), 4 cerwin vega v12f (12" wfr 3ways), cerwin vega v5c ctr channel. My reciever is 95 watts x7 and is doing a good job. I thought getting a 5 or 6 channel amp like rotel and then buying 2 more speakers for fronts. I think if I get an amp that can also do 2 channel, I'll be okay. I wanted to get some of the stress off the amp, actually a good two channel amp could do that, and then maybe another one down the road. I want to eventually upgrade to 7 or 9 speakers, but right now I just want to get a power amp. Which brand is really good, I'm leaning towards rotel. Any suggestions at all?
