I'm waiting until the floor is in. It's amazing - there are huge black absorbers on the walls, a soffited ceiling, there are a pair of black diffusers 9' high and 3' wide in front, two huge "the aliens have landed" gleaming back speakers taller than I am dominating the room, the lights fade up as you enter, we're talking visually striking here, a WAF of 0 but a coolness factor of 11... and the first thing anyone notices walking in, is the bare plywood subfloor. The floor goes in at the end of the month. (Can you say "desperately need that tax refund?" I knew you could. We all can.) Maybe then it will look the way it sounds.
