Has anyone heard complaints regarding the brightness level of the 46" model? Placed on the same picture settings, the same images viewed on the 46" are much darker than the 50". If I turn up the brightness on the 46", the colors wash out, whereas the 50" showed amazing color saturation with better brightness/contrast at the same default setting.
I'm a tad ticked off because I traded the 50" in due to some screen smudges and because it was a bit too big for my room, but I thought I'd be getting the same thing only smaller, but I find it to be barely an improvement over last year's model (my friend has the previous 46" model). When I went back in to Best Buy, I set the demo 46" and 50" (which are side-by-side) to the exact same color/brightness/contrast/etc. levels and the 46" demo was BRIGHTER with no wash out! When I asked about it, the salesman (who I don't trust any further than I can throw him) said that perhaps something is wrong with my bulb... Might he be correct? GRRRR!! HULK SMASH!

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm also noticing minor ghosting that I didn't see with the 50" either. All this trouble has got me considering just buying a CRT...
