I received my BIC DV62si's and DV52si's

And as I was told by many, including Buckeyefan 1 and MacManNM, the 62's are clearly a better sounding speaker. And that is not a knock on the 52's. They actually sound quite nice. The clarity is very good, and I would say they have a reasonable amount of bass for their size. I think they sound much better than the BIC D26's (which I would not recommend). But I think the 62's are noticeably better. They just have a very smooth, rich sound that sounds very effortless compared to the 52's. I was thinking that if the sound was fairly close, I would lean toward getting the 52's as the surrounds, based on their size. But now that I have them both, and can make a direct comparison, I am going the other way. The difference in size is not that great, and since the 62's sound better, I'm going to keep those as the surrounds (I may keep the 52's as presence speakers - I haven't decided yet)

They work great on the back porch or in the bedroom too.

Great post. Thanks for the heads up on the BIC DV52's. I think for a surround system, the DV62si bookshelves are the clear winner for fronts, surrounds, and rear surrounds. I'd still recommend the DV62CLR-S for the center channel. It's a wonderful setup with perfect WAF. Now, to use speaker stands or wallmount... And, don't forget the sub
