I really need your thoughts/help here

I have to make a choice between the two:
TH-42PX50
PDP-4350HD
I had opportunity to see TH-42PX50 and PDP-4340HD (older model) side by side, I liked PDP-4340HD more, although its blacks were not as black as TH-42PX50, Pioneer had noticeably sharper picture.
There was one huge problem with Pioneer though.
The horizontally moving text (like breaking news line let’s say) is totally messed up, jagged edges, out of focus, it is almost unreadable.
I had TH-42PX50 next to it, also some Philips and Sony plasmas, no such problem.

Does anyone have PDP-4340HD, is this a common problem?
Is there a significant difference between PDP-4340HD and PDP-4350HD, can I expect this problem fixed in the new model?

Pioneer PDP-4350HD

I sell/install lots of this model as well as the 5050HD and I have never seen the problem that you are refering to.
As for Panasonic the main model I sell is the TH-42PHD7UY which is also a great unit.
If it were me I would go with the Pioneer besides there is only about an extra $885.00 (wholesale).
