I need spec sheets/owners manual

From what I can find you will have to buy these. The only sites with them posted are pay. Anywhere from 15 - 20 bucks each.

I believe Sony has it's manuals as PDFs (though I don't know how far back). Google it.

So, use a different search engine. I googled that model and found a half dozen hits with selling prices, but you probably won't find a lot of free manuals.

Im 47 and in all my years on this planet, I've never been called snide. Until now. On line dictionary says: Snide is Derogatory in a malicious, superior way. Im sorry you took my comments as such, it was not my intent.

This won't help you in your search, but for future reference - don't buy from any company that won't put free owners manuals on the web. I just checked, my Denon manual is available.

Gee- that Sony receiver was made before Apple and IBM made personal computers available and before the internet was available to anyone other than schools and industry. How would they have thought the internet would become what it has, or that people would be looking online for manuals that came with the products but weren't included by someone who sold it later?

I have gotten many manuals for older items. Sometimes the company posts them, more often I just go to their site and hit contact us and ask. Sometimes they are not too pretty, often looking like a pdf from a scan of a copy of a copy of a copy...sometimes with pages missing. Sony is too big to care though.

Any audio retailers in your area that sold Sony or Scott when those models were new? They may have some manuals.
