i have a room which is 32x18, with four feet angled on either side (it's a third floor) making a center flat roof section which is ten feet by 32 feet, and probably about 8 1/2 feet tall, or so. i'm refinishing the room. i just put a new wood floor in (horrible, i know) should i drywall it, or is a hung ceiling quite a bit better for acoustics? i would like to hang a projector from the ceiling and make it a kindof multi-purpose room (my dedicated theatre room is in the basement, where my sub (theoretically, when i get one) won't bother the neighbors. also, an honest opinion, barring acoustic value, is a hung ceiling (2x4 panels) look tacky in floors above the basement? It's too late to call my mom and i'm sometimes horrible with these things, i'm planning out tomorrow's itinerary, and am trying to decide if it would be a home fashion faux pas also. Thanks!!!
