Hey, I'm pretty much new, setting aside my first post showing off what I've got so far.

I've recently bought a Pioneer VSX-815, but I've got it powering 2 bookshelfs, and 2 floor speakers.

Both of which are really old and just not up to par with what I'd like, granted, they were free, but I'd like something better.

Now I like my speakers loud, my freind owns a set of Logitech 680's, and man is it a ncie system, and holy crap it gets loud. We usually hook up our systems and host parties.

Now I'd like something, say, along the lines of 5.1, and it has to be able to get loud, w/out goin out on me.

One of my idea's was to get 5 bookshelf speakers, possibly 100w each. And get a sub of course.

I'm sorta on a budget, as I'm only 17, but I can a good amount of money over time.

THESE Insignia speakers are creating a buzz. HERE is a thread about them. I have not heard them myself but it appears that they would be worth checking out. They used KEF drivers and have a unique coaxial design (tweeter in the center).

Hmmm, I just previously bought an insignia 600w receiver, it was no good, fualty.

So I'm a little iffy, but for taht price, and that wattage, I just might have to go for it.

Until now, I never would have recommended an Insignia product, as most of them really are crap. In fact, I wouldn't recommend anything other than the speakers. It all depends on who actually manufactured it. Insignia is Best Buy's house brand and they simply rebadge products from other companies.

Those speakers are rebadged Radiients which are very nice speakers. None of the Best Buy stores in my area have these speakers. I would really like to hear them.

Hmm, I'll check out my local bestbuy for them, if they've got, I'll see how they sound.

If not, I'll order a pair online, thet fit my budget perfectly.

They sound really promising.
