I got a radio shack mono 1/8" to rca just like I have read to... I am connecting a digital coaxial cable from the adapter to my DVD in(which is the orange coaxial cable in) and when I am on the DVD input in my reciever nothing happens. No sound whatsoever.
I tried "digital only output" in speaker settings, tried 48 and 96khz...
Tried THX Setup Console "digital out"..
Tried AudioHQ spidif out and make soundcard not decode anything..
I have done all this and still nothing happens...
Could the coaxial cable be bad? I used the coaxial with normal rca audio input and outputs and got music, So i know its not totally bad.. is it possible the coaxial cable can do normal rca but fail to do digital?
The coaxial is one made specifically for digital coaxial.
And in AudioHQ i dont see any AC3 off or on panel or option...
