I need help with choice3 of amp

I have a pair of paradigm 7se MK3 that are in a room that is 200SQ. These are going to be used for music more than anything else. I would like some guidance as to what amp/reciever I should get. I will be hooking up a laptop/ipod for my music 90% of the time, the other 10% maybe a cd. I would like something nostalgic/vintage with blue lights. This is in "manland" a refuge to go and listen to music/play poker/dominoes. Any suggestions would really be appreciated. I am looking to spend $150 for a used piece

I was thinking about a marantz 2245, or a pioneer FX 424, please let me know what you think

Personally, I'm partial to a Marantz 22xx series receiver but then again, owning a 2270 and a 2230 might make me a bit biased. FWIW, they mate very well with JBL and AR speakers of that era, but I'd avoid the AR 3a' with a 2270 or low power units.

Marantz does quite well with any speaker. They should do quite well here also but I'd say go for as much power as you can muster. Today's speakers like more power than those older ones.
