Okay I am looking at installing a new sound system into my 94 Ford Probe. Since its not that great of a car, I decided I want to get a very nice sound system to make up for it. I am looking at putting a Rockford Fosgate Punch 301X 900 Watt Amp onto my four car speakers (Kenwood Aftermarket speakers) Then I am going to connect Two Rockford Fosgate RFD2212 12" HX2 Subs at 2000 Watts Max. Power to a Rockford Fosgate 801 2,400 Watt Amp. The Subs will be housed in a Q-Logic QB-212.3 Duel 12" Bandpass Box. I am also looking for any information on a special Music Car Battery (if that exists) Any information or suggestions on my plan would be extremely helpful. Thankz.

Not to sound rude but one of the excellent car audio forums would be a better place for your post. Check out:

Some recommedations I have is to ditch the pre-fab box and have one custom made to match the specs of the Rockford subs. It will sound 10 times better. If you are trying to achieve audiophile sound quality, Kenwood speakers are not the way to go. Look at component speakers from companies like MB Quart, Focal, Dynaudio, Diamond, Canton, Boston Acoustics - these are companies who are highly regarded in the car audio world.

Definitely ditch the Kenwood high-end. I would also suggest to ditch the Rockford subs, and while we are at it, the amps too.

A good dealer will have the ability to build a quality MDF sub box. They also would not recommend a pre-fab box with the amount of money you will be spending!

JL Audio makes the best sounding subs. They also make high quality amps!

MB Quart is my first pick for high-end. Dynaudio & Focal are also great choices.

Optima sealed battery!

P.S. Kenwood speakers are the best sounding when using radio power. But, with the kind of system you are wanting, they will be the weakest point!
