I would go for the Axiom system, but then I may be a little biased. :D

The Axiom system will present a clean neutral sound, and the surrounds (either QS4 or QS8) are exceptional.

You really do need to listen before you buy though. What rocks your world may not rock mine.

You can probably find the Klipsch locally. You might try Axioms 'hearing things' forum to find a local audition. If you can't, give a listen to a pair of Paradigm Studio 60's. They are sonically very similar to the M60.

Another brand I would give a listen to is PSB. The T45/55/65 series have a good reputation.

If you are dead set on having the system before Christmas and want to skip the auditioning, go for the Axiom system though.

I just bought a RF-82 system (rf-82's, rc-64, rs-62's, rb-61's rear, & rsw-10d) For me it was between that and Paradigm Monitor 11's. I liked the Klipsch sound better. Even in stereo mode with just the two RF-82's playing the clarity and power were breath taking. <p>
But its all very personal so you need to audition both and make a decision that you are happy with.

I would slow down a bit and listen to all the speakers you can find.

If you can't wait and the choice is from the above mentioned, I would go with Axiom.

you don't have to get matching subs to the speakers.

i find that i'm easier to please with speakers, but with subwoofers, you really need something that performs well. and the Axiom 350 ain't it.
