VINTAGE PIONEER AM FM STEREO RECEIVER AMPLIFIER SX-1300

This is the first REAL reciever I've purchased on my own (I'm a college student), I got lucky, and got it for a decent price. When looking at it, it looks alot better than the current model I own...

These are the only spec's the seller has sent me thus far.

PRODUCT INFO:

* A & B SPEAKERS SO THAT YOU CAN RUN IT IN 2 DIFFERENT ROOMS
* Pioneer Stereo Receiver SX-1300
* Graphic Equalizer
* Random Preset 24 FM/AM Stations
* 4 speaker jacks
* 5 inputs

I'm not sure how powerfull, or how good it is, but I'm sure it's alot better than the setup I currently have.

Comments please...

How much did you pay for it? I have an old Onkyo Pro-Logic receiver I would've sold for a little bit of nothing. I didn't think it would sell because of the newer 5.1-7.1 speaker outputs on the newer receivers with DD & DTS available for a couple hundred bucks. Guess I was wrong.:confused:

Well I paid 50$ for it, was that to much? If so I'll sell it to a pawn shop to get some money back out of it.... or put it back on ebay :-/ Well I gotta start somewhere, and my outputs on this reciever was giving out.

How much for the pro logic?

I would sell it to you, but I'm not that kind of person. The HT receivers with at least 5.1 in the description is the way to go. $50 is not a bad price for the knowledge you will get from it. I would look for the Pioneer listed in this system: http://www.audioholics.com/showcase/systemguide/1Kentrylevelsystem.php

269.10 with free shipping: http://www.onecall.com/ProductDetails.aspx?sHist=19-1$vsx,6-32&showAdvanced=true&id=26482

Thanks for the link, once I save up a bit more I'll purchase something similar to this for my entry HT reciever. I guess I just need something to replace my current reciever since that one is giving out on me.

Low budget option

For your budget, you should consider a refurbished Onkyo or Denon receiver from e-cost or other authorized dealers. They include a limited waranty.
