I got the Beringers yesterday. 3 actually. I'm using one to EQ both subs and the other two for the front and rear speakers on dual mono amps. My system was whisper quiet before hooking these up. Now I have a hsssssss with no volume. I have the Beringers plugged into my Monster HTPS7000 which is plugged into a Monster AVS2000.

Is anyone familiar with these beringers? I probably don't have them adjusted properly causing the hsssssss. I will say on the subs it is awesome. I'm not sure how I did it but I made that Velodyne 18" sound like a 10" on tightness and it still makes your stomach turn on the lows. If I can't get this hssssss filtered out I'm gonna be bummed.

I have all the Beringers set to the parametric EQ filter.

BTW, the directions to these things stink! or I am stupid one of the two. LOL I think you need a clear understanding of ALL the fuctions to even attemp to adjust these things. After messing and guessing I got a decent sound with them and watched the Eagles DVD with my ESS AMT4's front and rear with the Velodyne 18" and a Cerwin 12" subs. WOW!

I can't wait to learn how to really adjust these Beringers. They do make a BIG difference.

Can someone give me some tips on how to adjust these things?

Do you have two -10dBv setting switches selected on the on the back of the unit to reduce the output voltage for home equipment voltage levels?

I'm not sure? I do know that they are there but wasn't sure what they were for? I will check, thanks.

OK, time to show a bit of ignorance. Why are you using a feedback suppressor to "equalize" your system?

Hey thats the same thing beringer asked me. LOL I got that advice off this forum. Then I ran accross a sweet deal on 3 hardly used beringers and bought them 50 cents on the dollar. They will do what I want them to do according to Beringer but they are not very user friendly. They do have a parametric EQ built in them so thats what I use them for. I just can't figure out how to adjust them.

I did get the Hsssssss out by pushing the buttons on the back. Thanks WmAx
