Hi all

First post on audioholics

In the past year I've went from the bog standard supplied in-ear buds to the Bowers & Wilkins p7s with Fiio e12 Mont Blanc amp and now I have the OPPO PM1s.
I had planned to buy the whole OPPO package pm1 with ha1 and the headphone stand and amp stand but after reading the specs on the pm1s which are 32oms and my current Fiio amp goes up to 300oms why would I need the HA1?
I only plan to use it for headphones nothing else.the e12 Fiio would do a fine job?.is there something I'm missing here?.
I burn my discs to my iMac then transfer to my iPod is the HA1 going to be overkill for me I'm never going to go down the 24bit music road so what im I to do.?

Any help would be appreciated £1199 is a lot of money to spend on something I may not get the benefit from.

That's not really something any of us can answer. A lot of this hobby deals with ego and the rush one gets from buying tke latest and greatest audio jewelry just because one wants it.

I'd say that if you can hear a difference, and feel you can justify the cost for that difference, and you can afford it, and you want it, then I'd say go for it, If you say "no" to any one of those for questions, then I would forgo it.

Make sure you can return it if you decide to try it.
