do they make them sound that much better? I see a svsound AS-EQ1 on ebay. Is that any good? Worth buying or not?

Will it make a sub sound better? No it won't.
Will it help get the most out of your sub in your room? Yes it will.
A crappy sub will still be a crappy sub however.

I have experience with the svs EQ, people seem to like it though.

Thanks but I was just reading some reviews people say the svs eq is better but for the price you cant go wrong with the 8033c .

I was also looking on www.svsound.com and they have some B grade subs and a sub eq that was ether a return or open box or something.

I already have two svs SB12-NSD Piano Gloss Black and they are great subs. my house has hard wood floors, tall old plaster walls and everything echoes badly. I put down a rug in the center of the floor that helps. I need to get some kind of fabric or something and hang on the one wall to help with the echo.

my ht room is nice and big,19x17 feet, but my hurdle is that this is a 1966 mobile home, with super thin walls and basically just plywood floors under the carpet.
